DELIVERY DRIVER NARROWLY MISSES LIVE RAILWAY AFTER SPEEDING CAUSES CRASH

Incident Summary
A delivery driver narrowly avoided a live railway line after speeding caused him to crash his car on Cowbridge Road West, near Ely, Cardiff.
In a shocking admission, the driver of the vehicle admitted to “going to fast” and claimed he “tried to break” but the car “kept going straight”.
Emergency response teams from South Wales Police, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust were in attendance.
No serious injuries were recorded as a result of this incident.
