21 RESIDENTS REHOUSED AFTER CITY CENTRE BUILDING FIRE IN CARDIFF
04/03/2025
Incident Summary
An accidental fire has caused significant damage to a building within Cardiff City Centre during the early hours of March 4, 2025.
Dyfrig House sits along side the River Taff, Cardiff overlooking the Principality Stadium.
21 residents at the home have had to be rehoused as a result.
Emergency response teams from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, South Wales Police and Welsh Ambulance Service Trust were in attendance during the blaze.
Our aerial photographs show that the well established fire has left the building with significant roof damage. We believe however, no damage to other parts of the building was caused.
